3D CG Software Engineer / TD / Technical Artist (m/f/d) – remote

Tasks

  • You will support our digital product development team in the areas of realtime computer graphics, mass customization, 3D scanning, and 3D printing
  • You work in a small, agile software development team of computer graphics all-rounders
  • You are a generalist yourself and enjoy working on different projects in the field of 3D computer graphics
  • Together with your colleagues, you will develop solutions for both existing and new products in our digital ecosystem
  • To do this, you communicate regularly with your colleagues
  • Together you maintain a roadmap, the tasks of which you work on independently and reliably

Requirements

  • You have a strong technical background (media informatics, computer visualistics, applied computer science, software engineering, …)
  • You develop tools for your colleagues in product design as well as digital products for design-savvy customers
  • Therefore, you need a good feel for design and build a bridge between design and technology
  • You are interested in the latest developments in computer graphics and are happy to familiarize yourself with new frameworks and tools as required

With us you need broad knowledge in the following areas:

Object oriented programing

  • Mathematics for 3D computer graphics
  • 3D shading & rendering
  • 3D modeling & texturing
  • Game engines

Knowledge in the following areas is not a must but an advantage:

  • Python, JavaScript, WebGL
  • Machine learning
  • Computer vision
  • Computational Geometry
